So many of us are in marriages, relationships, & jobs because we’re afraid of leaving due to what people might think or say!

You can’t help it if your significant other cheats on you & you’ve haven’t been married a year yet.

Do people have to know?

No

Is it their business?

No

Do they pay the mortgage & keep the lights on in your home?

Then they haven’t purchased an opinion

They’ll forget about your issues & be on to the next gossip or drama shortly. It’ll pass.

Some of you are staying in a job because you feel like that’s who you are & where you’ve worked. What will people think?

Same advice as above!

Is it their business? Do they pay your bills?

Then…do you Boo!

I thought long & hard about my kids when I contemplated divorce for roughly five years before I actually filed. I was worried I was going to hell, I was worried it would mess my kids up, & I was worried I was being selfish.

If your kids are watching a toxic relationship & growing up in that, and little boys & girls grow up to marry people just like their parents and end up playing out the same storylines….then what the heck is good for your kids in that? A loveless marriage? A marriage where abuse & betrayal is okay? They’ll marry someone just like you or their other parent. Their personalities are completely formed by age of 10-11 years. By 4 years old they understand parental boundaries & don’t allow other adults in that way.

I would NEVER want any of my kids to stay in something they internally & intuitively know is wrong….because of what I thought or what I thought I knew.
